Superchargers - Challenge Curation #13

Here are three little personal challenges to try in our daily lives as suggested by expert guests on the Superchargers podcast hosted by Daniel Thomas. Watch the full conversations below each challenge.

Real Estate Investor - Mathew Pezon

“I would challenge listeners to really dig into their wealth mindset and how they manage their personal finances, because how you manage anything is how you manage everything. It's very difficult for us to compartmentalise, well, I'm organised here, but not there, or I'm responsible here, but not there. So really dig into a wealth mindset, personal finance, because you are a reflection of your business or of your side hustle. So get the little things right with respect to your finances and your mentality, and you'll get the big things right with respect to your dreams.”

Diversity & Inclusion Leader - Victoria Pelletier

“You know, the challenge I have for people is to create their own version of, I have two sort of phrases or mantras, and it's very much how I live my life. And one of them is about being unstoppable. And so that is that trauma, adversity or challenges put in front of me are not going to stop me from achieving my goals or objectives. But the other part and philosophy is no excuses. What I mean by no excuses is that we actually have a choice in terms of how we're going to choose to respond to that situation. So my challenge to your listening audience is how to build their own version, their unstoppable journey for themselves, whatever success means and how they define it for themselves. But to do that from a place of no excuses and controlling the things that you can control, and that includes how you react or respond when challenge and adversity comes your way.”

Psychotherapist - Phyllis E Leavitt

“Let's make it our practice to go out of our way to acknowledge people. And that can be the people in our immediate lives. It can be someone in a store who's waiting on us.

It can be someone on the end of the phone. It can be larger, sending a letter to your congressman, if you like what they did. But let's go out of our way to acknowledge people.

We don't know what people are suffering. In America, it seems we have to look like we have it all together. We have to look like we're strong and independent. And people are really suffering. They really are. And who knows if you or me, just being really kind and acknowledging someone who waits on us in a restaurant or who serves us in a store, you know, who knows what kind of pain they might be suffering and they're trying to look good and function. And how much just a smile from us, just a thank you, could change their day.”
