
Daniel (Danny) Thomas is a writer & performer of personal, reflective storytelling that blends emotional honesty, dark humour & sharp cultural observation. He transforms experiences & everyday absurdity into narratives that are raw, relatable, & human.
Born in the UK, raised in Australia & currently based in Germany,
his role in the feature film, Edda Tudor (Prime) landed him a nomination for Best Leading Actor at the 2020 London International Indie Film Festival. The web-pilot he wrote and directed, Tippy Top, picked up Best Pilot at the Paris Play Film Festival that same year. In 2025, he played Ivan in the film Finding Shinobi.

Danny left an architecture career in Melbourne to tour as a drummer in the UK before settling in Hamburg with family. His diverse creative & life experiences have informed his storytelling & unique perspectives.
He is currently working on live material, an audio series
& is co-host of the Wolf Cub Film Club Podcast.
